It has always been a real ambition of mine to study at Cambridge or Oxford University. I am pleased to announce that I have just started my MPhil in Advanced Computer Science with the hopes to carry on my research into a full PhD.

Downing College is outright beautiful and I couldn't think of a nicer place to study. With that there is a MCR (Middle Common Room) which is a well looked after room for post-graduates with leather seats, a bar and a big TV. The people that run and look after it have been amazing as has everyone else I have had the pleasure to speak to at the College. The porters have been especially helpful in getting me moved in and all the forms sorted.

There is a lot to get used to here and going back to academia from the games industry is going to be tough. The term proper starts tomorrow and I cannot wait to get started.
